Bayern seeks to secure the first place against the top bottom

First against last, that is the summary of Bayern’s tie against Darmstadt (15:30CEST) and no one at the Bavarian club wants to underestimate the rival’s position in the table. They have regained the first place and want it that way. “Every game is difficult and important to keep the top place. No one can think the contrary”, said Carlo ancelotti. There’s just two games before the winter break and the Italian coach is confident his team will go on holidays as leaders: “I see the team pretty well, they have trained well and I think we are ready to keep growing. We want every point”.

In this respect, Bayern hopes to win the three points against Darmstadt to arrive to next Wednesday clash against Leipzig, main competitor for the title at the moment, ready to stretch the gap. “We have to finish the year in the best possible way because I think we can do a great second leg in the league”, commented the Italian, who sees how his players are reaching their top form.
