Ancelotti opens his second stage at Real Madrid with a thrashing

The white team beats Alavés 1-4 in Mendizorroza in their first league game.

The first step could not be better. After an intense preseason, Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid kicked off this Saturday with a resounding thrashing against Alavés in Medizorroza (1-4) on the first day of the League. Successful and forceful against the rival goal, the feelings left by the white team couldn’t have been better. Intense without the ball and fast and vertical when they had it. A perfect mix that had to wait until the second half to uncork a win that Benzema (2), Nacho and Vinicius signed.

Ancelotti’s first assessments after his first win could not have been more positive: “We played a game in which in the first half the intensity level was not good and in the second, better. We have very fast defenders and we could have pressed higher, but it is the first game and we have to work on it more and we will work on it. We want to play with intensity with and without the ball because we have the quality to do it ”.
