Everton beats the bottom league

Keane’s goal was enough for Ancelotti’s men

From first to last. This has been Everton’s return to competition. If in the return of the competition they face the leaders Liverpool (0-0) this time on Wednesday the rival was Norwich, the bottom team of the league in these first steps back to normality. Of course, Carlo Ancelotti’s team stayed put in defence and competitive and grabbed the three points in their visit to Carrow Road.

Everton had patience until the 55th minute when Keane headed into the net a corner kick that surprised Tin Krul. A goal that helped to ease past Norwich. “My players have shown commitment and determination to compete in this Premier until the end in a match that wasn´t easy. I am very satisfied with everyone´s work”, acknowledge Ancelotti.
