Xabi Alonso shares his prominence with Ancelotti in Bayern’s vs Eintracht build up
The spotlight and the attention of the press conference prior to the Bayern Munich vs Eintracht Frankfurt match of this Saturday (15.30 CET) at the Allianz Arena weren’t exclusively focusing on Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian coach shared his prominence with Xabi Alonso who announced this week that he will leave professional football at the end of this season. Bayern’s coach didn’t hesitate to praise everything that Xabi has done for football. “I must admit his decision. We lose a great player. He is a fantastic professional and a wonderful person”, stressed Carlo.
When it came to focusing on the match against Eintracht, Ancelotti reassured that he will choose a good 11 to confront this match: “There won’t be many rotations in the match against Eintracht Frankfurt. There’s enough time to recover”.

Before leaving the press room Carlo wanted to reclaim his philosphy when it comes to training: “We take care of the quality of our trainning sessions and not so much about the quantity. We want to maintain our players healthy”, finished the Italian coach.
