Carlo Ancelotti continues to accumulate awards for his work in charge of Real Madrid, the club he managed the last two seasons and led to win La Décima. This Monday the Italian coach was awarded with the Miguel Muñoz Trophy by the prestigious newspaper Marca that distinguishes him as the best coach of La Liga in the 2014/15 season.
Carlo, who enjoyed meeting again with his former players Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos, also awarded, expressed his gratitude for being awarded ” Today, a very nice stage in a great team with great players is being close. I am very happy to receive this award and also because I have a very good memory of the two years at Real Madrid”.
Ancelotti, who supported the work of his colleague Zidane, closed his speech stressing the honor it was for him to manage a team like Real: “I was fortunate to coach a great team, and this makes me very happy with everything that happened. Living in Madrid was very nice, but one door closes and another opens. That´s the usual manager life. When I signed I knew that one day I had to leave, but now begins a new stage that I do not know when it will end”.
