The Italian coach returns for the first time as a visitor to the stadium that was his home for eight seasons.
When Ancelotti signed for Napoli, everyone thought of his reunion with AC Milan, on the date Carlo return to San Siro. And that day has arrived. This Saturday (8.30pm CET), Napoli visits Milan in what will be Ancelotti’s first game in what was his stadium for eight seasons. At San Siro he lived one of the most beautiful and laureate chapter of his career. There, he won eight titles, of which, two Champions Leagues stands above the rest of the titles. And now he returns defending Napoli´s colors and interests, although still a really special match for the Italian. “It is a pleasure and an emotion to return to a stadium that has been an important part of my life, so if I could choose I would never play against Milan, but the profession demands it, so I am focused on the game and it will be nice to give Gattuso a hug, “said Carlo.
The game against Milan will be a good opportunity for Napoli to continue with the great level the team is showing this season, and above all, to continue pressing Juve in the fight for Serie A. “Tomorrow we will have a difficult game but we´ll seriously play for it because we intend to follow the lead of Juventus and keep the league open, “admitted the Italian coach.
🎙@MrAncelotti: “The President knows what we need to do. I've got a three-year contract, so we don't need to talk about renewals. I'm happy here and Napoli are happy with me here"
